Just wondering if anyone on the vine plans to attend this event. Im going with about 15 people from Chicago. Anyone else going? I think this will be a great event.

I had not heard about this. I am going to the Colbert/Stewart Rally on 10/30/10 however. I am from chicago as well! The suburbs here but either way. I will have to look into it. I don't know if I can afford two trips but either way. Good to meet another fellow chicago viner. FR

I have a few people that I am going with for the Colbert/Stewart rally and am driving since I have a hybrid. However caravaning may be an option haha. I work in winnetka and live in northbrook. A little too ritsy for my liking but what ya gunna do when you get out of college and are 30k in debt... live at home and save up and pay off debt... yippee, thank you recession and big banks... you are my effing heroes lol. They really should have promoted this better, this is the first I've heard of it. The headlines the next day are going to be "Only A Handful March for Progressive Policies" unless it's been better promoted in other cities, which is possible as I'm on the west coast. I'm sure I'd know about it by now if World Can't Wait or ANSWER were running the show, though. I hope it all works out for you, I won't a able to make it, unfortunately.

thanks oddguy, lol. I also wish this would have been promoted better. I just found out about it a few days ago. Fortunately ,there is still time. There are alot of sponsors and they all have their own websites which im sure are doing their own promoting. But still, if you can, spread the word. You can go on their website and link the event to your facebook or twitter or you can email to your friends and family. thanks again.
